Manage your subscription

Where it happens

Everything is handled from Subscription, in the menu. Payment and invoices are handled by Stripe, our payment provider, in a secure portal: your card is stored by Stripe, never by Siggmund.

Only an admin of the account opens the Stripe portal (card, invoices, plan change, cancellation). Any member can start the trial or choose a plan from the plans page.

Trial period

  • The trial starts when you click Start the trial, and lasts 7 days. Everything is unlocked during the trial.
  • You receive an email reminder 3 days, then 1 day before it ends.
  • When the trial ends, a 3-day grace period begins: you can still read your analyses, but reruns and corrections are blocked. A last reminder goes out the day before the grace period ends.
  • After the grace period, access is suspended until you choose a plan.

Changing plan

Only one paid plan is offered in self-service; custom plans are negotiated with us. From Subscription, Change plan opens the Stripe portal, where you find your current plan. Your account's tier, and the quotas that come with it, follow the plan you subscribed to.

Updating your card, seeing your invoices

  • Replace the card or Update the card opens the Stripe portal, where you replace your payment method.
  • See the invoices opens the list of your invoices, which you can download as PDF. The first one comes with your first payment.

Cancelling

Click Cancel the subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid: you keep access until then, and the end date is shown in Subscription. Until that date, the Reactivate button undoes the cancellation.

When a payment fails

  • Your subscription moves to Payment failed, and a banner shows the number of days of access left.
  • You keep access to your dashboard for 30 days after the declined charge. New weekly measurements, however, stop.
  • Click Update payment, in the banner, to replace your card. As soon as the payment goes through, everything resumes, without your plan or your billing date changing.
  • Nothing stops you from opening the plans page in the meantime, but using it to pay again would create a second subscription: always go through Update payment.
